EVENTS & WRITING CAMPS
WORKROOM returns to Amsterdam Dance Event in 2026 with one of our biggest writing events yet, taking place during ADE’s 30th anniversary edition at STMPD Recording Studios
On Saturday 24 October, we will bring together around 30 exceptional artists, songwriters and producers from across dance and electronic music for a full day of collaboration at Martin Garrix’s renowned STMPD Recording Studios.
Across six studios, participants will be placed into groups selected to bring together complementary skills, sounds and perspectives. The aim is simple: create exciting new music, build genuine creative relationships and make the most of one of the biggest weeks in the global electronic music calendar.

Among the first confirmed names is Corey James, a UK producer and DJ whose music has been released through some of dance music’s most respected labels, including STMPD RCRDS, SIZE, Axtone, Armada and Protocol. Known for powerful records that combine energy, emotion and precision, Corey brings years of experience from both the studio and the international dance scene.

We will also be joined by Zachary Charles, vocalist, songwriter and producer from the acclaimed electronic pop band A R I Z O N A. Zach’s work has generated more than one billion streams and includes standout records such as Oceans Away and I Was Wrong, alongside collaborations with Avicii, Don Diablo, Robin Schulz, R3HAB and more.
His ability to combine emotionally direct songwriting with distinctive electronic production will bring another exciting dimension to the sessions. No stranger to ADE, Zach has previously performed alongside Don Diablo at AMF in the Johan Cruijff Arena, as well as at SLAM! in the Ziggo Dome.

Further participating artists, writers and producers will be announced in the lead-up to ADE.
The event is free to attend, but spaces are extremely limited and attendance is by application only. Every submission will be reviewed by WORKROOM, with the selection process beginning in late September.
We are looking for people with something meaningful to bring to the room. That could be an unmistakable voice, exceptional songwriting, forward-thinking production or simply a creative perspective that deserves to be heard.
This is an opportunity to spend a full day creating inside one of Amsterdam’s leading recording facilities, surrounded by talented people who are serious about music and open to discovering where a new collaboration could lead.
Applications open 08.08.26
